Hello? This is a MONIT. We apologize for the inconvenience of using Monit's service.
There are people who don't get real-time alerts for our kids from the Android app in Monit, so we have a solution. The screen captured for explanation is Samsung Galaxy S7.
 
1. Check if your smartphone is sleeping. If the user changes the mode to save the battery, the alarm may not be received.

a) Enter the setup screen and select device management

b) Select a battery from the device management screen

c) Select the Disable button in battery sleep mode

d) Confirm Disable Sleep

2. Check if the Monit app is categorized as a sleep app. If it is classified as a sleep app, you may not receive an alarm because the Android operating system forces the app to shut down, so please register it as an app other than a sleeping target in the following order.

a) Enter the setup screen and select ' Device Management '

b) Battery selection in ' Device Management '

c) Choose non-saving apps

d) Add a Monit app to the list

e) Redo the Monit App
 
3. Anyone who has turned off system notifications can not receive notifications. Please check the settings.
 
a) Enter the setup screen and select application management

b) Select Monit from Application Management

c) Select notification from application information

d) Change from Application Notification to Disabled

e) Confirm the following settings for use, permit sound, and prevent interference exceptions.

f) Restart the Monit App
4. If you are using a Samsung smartphone, you can block notifications of apps that are not used for more than 3 days if Samsung Smart Manager is installed. So in this case, if you run the Monit app at least every three days, you can prevent the alarm from going off.

Don't mothers instinctively know if their babies have been potting or peeing?

That's right. As babies grow older, so do mothers. But you can't always be next to the baby. Parents have to wash the dishes, do the laundry, and make baby food. They’re Superwoman/Superman. You have to pay attention to a lot of things. So you may not notice the baby's discomfort. Mom is the first.

Some babies may not cry whenever they pee and poop. Even You can not know when my baby is sleeping. The baby of one of the co-founders didn’t cry because the baby is not that much sensitive. So, if you change the diaper after a while, the diaper rash will occur and the baby will have a hard time. So he was stressed enough to check his baby 's diaper.

This is what many people are concerned about. I'm afraid you'll be worried because it is a product that is attached to your baby's body. A Monit sensor's  theoretical electromagnetic wave level is low enough not to be SAR certification(*) targets. It's about 1 / 20th of a smartphone.
* SAR (Specific Absorption Rate) certification is a test to judge the harmfulness of electromagnetic waves.

I'm nervous because there are a lot of battery issues these days, is Monit all right?"

In the case of batteries, we are using a battery developed and manufactured by domestic manufacturers instead of using a low cost battery made in China which  becomes a problem these days, . In addition, by applying a triple battery protection circuit, we are prepared for the accident.
We are thinking the safety of the product first. It passed the domestic and international battery safety certification and proved to be a safe product.

If the sensor is attached to the diaper, doesn’t the baby feel inconvenient?"

The weight of the Monit sensor is 12g. This is about 2 sheets of A4 paper and it does not put a burden on the baby.

Is there a risk of the baby swallowing?

Accepted Answer

Monit sensors is designed to be unswallowable. So it is difficult to get into the baby's mouth. Because babies usually wear a diaper, and then they wear underwear or trousers on the diaper, there is less fear of reaching the baby's hand.
