Troubleshooting
Hello? This is a MONIT. We apologize for the inconvenience of using Monit's service.
There are people who don't get real-time alerts for our kids from the Android app in Monit, so we have a solution. The screen captured for explanation is Samsung Galaxy S7.
1. Check if your smartphone is sleeping. If the user changes the mode to save the battery, the alarm may not be received.
a) Enter the setup screen and select device management
b) Select a battery from the device management screen
c) Select the Disable button in battery sleep mode
d) Confirm Disable Sleep
2. Check if the Monit app is categorized as a sleep app. If it is classified as a sleep app, you may not receive an alarm because the Android operating system forces the app to shut down, so please register it as an app other than a sleeping target in the following order.
a) Enter the setup screen and select ' Device Management '
b) Battery selection in ' Device Management '
c) Choose non-saving apps
d) Add a Monit app to the list
e) Redo the Monit App
3. Anyone who has turned off system notifications can not receive notifications. Please check the settings.
a) Enter the setup screen and select application management
b) Select Monit from Application Management
c) Select notification from application information
d) Change from Application Notification to Disabled
e) Confirm the following settings for use, permit sound, and prevent interference exceptions.
f) Restart the Monit App
4. If you are using a Samsung smartphone, you can block notifications of apps that are not used for more than 3 days if Samsung Smart Manager is installed. So in this case, if you run the Monit app at least every three days, you can prevent the alarm from going off.
If you do not receive an alarm message after following the above steps, please contact the customer center. Android Monit App is also working hard to make the battery run low, so please wait!

1. Please make sure the product is turned on.
- Monit Sensor : When the power switch is cycled, make sure that the light blinks.
If the light is not clear, the battery is low. Please charge it.
- Monit Hub : Connect the AC power adapter and check if the status indicator LED on the top of the product lights up.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- If the Bluetooth feature on your smartphone is off, you will not be able to connect to the product.Turn down the status bar at the top of the smartphone screen to activate the
Bluetooth icon.
3. Check the distance between the product and the smartphone.
- Please put your product right next to your smartphone and connect it.
The connection may not be possible if the product is far from the product.
4. Please make sure your smartphone has Internet access.
- Monit products will be certified by the Monit cloud server when connected.
Please activate your smartphone's Wi-Fi or mobile network to connect to the Internet.
5. Turn off the app and then turn it back on.
- If there is a problem connecting to the product, please restart the app.
App restarts to proceed through the Bluetooth connection process.
6. Please reboot your smartphone.
- If the above procedure does not solve the problem, please reboot your smartphone.
